WATTS So Funny, a night of stand-up comedy, Nov. 9
THOMASTON — WATTS So Funny, a night of stand-up comedy featuring Maine’s top comedic talent, comes to Watts Hall on Saturday, Nov. 9, at 7 p.m., at 174 Main Street, Thomaston.
Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door.
Host Emily Waterman Dillon, is "known for her quick wit and vibrant energy, juggles roles as an insurance agent by day and a comedy powerhouse by night," said Watts Hall Community Arts, in a news release.
A former Navy wife and mother of three, Dillon’s comedic journey has brought her to the stage alongside nationally acclaimed comics like Ryan Niemiller, Dulce Sloan, and Gilbert Gottfried. She also founded Stingers Comedy and has twice been voted Pensacola’s Best Comedian of the Coast.
"Her fearless honesty and charm are bound to keep audiences laughing," said Watts.
Joining Dillon on stage are three notable comedians:
Ian MacDonald: Known for his smart humor, MacDonald was a semi-finalist at the 2023 Boston Comedy Festival and a third-place finalist in New England’s Funniest Comedian Competition 2022.
Dennis Fogg: A comedy veteran of 25 years, Fogg recently took the title of Funniest Comic at New England’s Funniest Comic competition. You may have seen Fogg on The Food Network’s Restaurant Impossible or You Bet Your Life with Jay Leno.
Lynda España: A towering comedic talent with roots in Southport Island, España honed her craft in San Francisco, becoming a finalist in the Battle of the Bay Comedy Competition. Her unique approach combines quirky, self-deprecating humor with expertly crafted punchlines, according to Watts Hall Community Arts.
