Waldoboro Police beat: Domestic violence, OUI, stolen purse
WALDOBORO - Waldoboro police responded to 220 calls for service from March 10-18. Listed below are a few of the highlights. An arrest or summons does not apply guilt. A person charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
March 10
Officer Thomas Bartunek investigated a report of a stolen purse.
March 11
Maitland Williams, 33, of Bremen, was issued a summons by Officer Larry Hesseltine for failing to show proof of insurance and uninspected motor vehicle.
William Ball, 28, of Bristol, was issued a summons by Officer Larry Hesseltine for an expired license.
George Ganson, 31, of Bristol, was arrested by Officer Larry Hesseltine for outstanding warrants.
Officer Thomas Bartunek investigated an accident on Union Road at 5:59 p.m. Kaitlin Wallace, 26, of Waldoboro, was driving a 2013 Toyota sedan headed south, left the roadway, hit a snow bank and struck a Central Maine Power pole. The CMP pole was broken, causing damage to a residence on Union Road. Possible injuries were reported.
March 12
Cheyenne Augustine, 22, of Warren, was arrested by Officer Tomas Bartunek for operating under the influence, and was issued a summons for uninspected motor vehicle and failing to show proof of insurance.
March 13
Officer Jeffery Fuller investigated a report of criminal mischief to a residential mailbox.
March 17
Luke Morse, 22, of Wiscasset, was arrested by Officer Larry Hesseltine for aggravated domestic violence assault and criminal mischief.
