    BELFAST — The Waldo County Sheriff’s Department reported the following activity Dec. 1-16. An arrest or summons does not imply guilt. 

    Dec. 1 

    Sergeant Cody Laite responded to the scene of a single-vehicle accident on Moosehead Trail in Jackson, where an operator failed to navigate a sweeping curve to the right. The vehicle, a 2017 Dodge, went off the roadway to the left, struck a guardrail, and came to rest in a small marsh, according to the accident report. The operator, Michael Bickford, 25, of Jackson, was charged with operating under the influence and the vehicle was towed from the scene. 

    Dec. 4

    William S. Pendergast, 41, of Northport, was arrested for violation of bail conditions on Atlantic Highway in Northport.

    Dec. 6

    Juliana Tibbetts, 24, of  Norridgewock, was issued a summons for domestic violence assault on North Main Street in Winterport. 

    Dec. 8

    Jay F. Esprit, 34, of Searsport, was arrested for operating under the influence, operating after suspension, violation of bail conditions, and failure to give notice of an accident by quickest means on Main Road North in Frankfort.

    Dec. 10

    Dylan Brasslett, 20, of Winterport, was issued summonses for operating after suspension and failure to provide proof of insurance on Whig Street in Winterport.

    James R. Coulsey, 54, of Brooks, was arrested for domestic violence assault on Lang Hill Highway in Brooks.
