Waldo County closed cases

    BELFAST — The following cases were closed in Waldo County Unified Court July 1-8. 

    Jessie J. Reynolds, 38, of Knox, assault (two counts) in Brooks May 30, 2020, seven days in jail and $300 fine for each count. 

    Simon Turner, 21, of Rockland, trafficking in prison contraband in Belfast Sept. 26, nine months in jail. 

    Jay F. Esprit, 34, of Searsport, operating under the influence in Frankfort Dec. 8, 45 days in jail, license suspended for three years, and $700 fine; violating a condition of release in Frankfort Dec. 8, 10 days in jail.

    Matthew J. Brennick, 41, of Northport, failing to stop, remain, or provide information in Northport Nov. 9, $200 fine. 

    Christopher M. Pelkey, 33, of Hermon, domestic violence assault in Winterport March 17, 180 days in jail with all but 10 days suspended and two years or probation; aggravated assault in Winterport March 17, dismissed; domestic violence assault in Winterport March 17, dismissed; domestic violence terrorizing in Winterport March 17, dismissed; criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon in Winterport March 17, dismissed.

    Craig Leonard, 54, of Freedom, disturbing the traps of another in Freedom April 25, $150 fine. 

    Susan Rich, 50, of Monroe, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer in Belfast April 19, 30 days in jail and $25.17 restitution. 

    Lyle A. Hanson, 31, of Thorndike, operating while license suspended or revoked in Prospect April 7, $250 fine. 

    April J. Pattershall, 39, of Stockton Springs, violating a condition of release in Belfast July 2, 72 hours in jail. 

    Meldon Bates, 56, of Belfast, criminal trespass in Belfast July 6, 48 hours in jail; violating a condition of release in Belfast July 6, 48 hours in jail. 

    Robert J. Struba, 70, of Belfast, allowing a dog to be at large in Belfast April 19, $50 fine.
