Union's Sestercentennial seeks volunteers
UNION — “It has been said that it takes a village to raise a child. It also takes a village to hold a once-in-250-years celebration,” said Union Sestercentennial Committee, in a news release.
The Union Sestercentennial committee invites everyone to take part in the 250th Anniversary celebration activities.
“There will be many opportunities for volunteering, from helping along the parade route, to directing traffic, to selling sestercentennial merchandise, just to name a few,” said Union Sestercentennial Committee co-chair Argy Nestor.
For those interested in volunteering, there are several ways to sign up. Volunteers can access the sign-up form at https://shorturl.at/829XP. Prospective volunteers can also visit the Celebrating Union’s 250 Years Facebook to sign up. Each option will direct volunteers to a website called SignUpGenius where you can fill in your own slots.
If you wish to volunteer for multiple days, complete the form for each day. Volunteers will receive ONE FREE VOLUNTEER T-SHIRT when you arrive for your volunteer slot.
