Trail steward volunteers are needed to help the Belfast Bay Watershed Coalition maintain the Little River Community Trail.

A trail steward will inspect a portion of the trail on a weekly (or bi-weekly) basis and report any maintenance needs to the BBWC trail committee.

Trail segments will be one to one-and-one-half miles long and each segment should have one steward and one back-up steward.

“Stewards are not expected to perform trail work, just provide information about observed conditions,” said BBWC, in a news release.
