Timothy Robinson, obituary
BELMONT — Timothy L. Robinson, 55, went home to be with his Lord and Savior May 26, 2014, following a short battle with cancer, at Pen Bay Medical Center in Rockport.
Born in Belfast, Oct. 20, 1958, he was the son of Dexter and Kathleen Blake Robinson. He was educated locally and was a 1977 graduate of Searsport High School. Following high school Tim attended Washington County Vocational School, now Washington Technical College, for a year before earning his associates degree from Beal College.
On Aug. 15, 1992, Tim married Tanya L. Turner in Belfast. Married for more than 21 years, the two shared a love of the Lord and were active in many churches. Tim enjoyed teaching Sunday school, hosting Bible studies and ministering to people in nursing homes.
He was a self-taught man and enjoyed reading, learning new skills such as playing the guitar, woodworking and programming computers.
For more than 17 years, Tim was employed with Matthews Brothers in Belfast. Beginning there in 1996 he worked his way up through the IT department, later becoming the company's pricing analyst.
Predeceased by his father, Tim is survived by his mother, Kathleen Robinson of Brooks; his wife, Tanya Robinson of Belfast; his siblings and their spouses, Lynn and Jack Ayer of Plymouth, Julie and Arthur Brassbridge of Monroe, Joe and Lea Robinson of Carmel, Ross and Lisa Robinson, and Mark Robinson all of Frankfort; and many nieces and nephews.
A home-going celebration will be held Saturday, May 31 at 11 a.m. at Morrill Baptist Church, 26 South Main St. in Morrill. Private interment will be held at a later date.
