THOMASTON — This year’s annual Thomaston Grammar School Fall Fest was a resounding success!

The carnival-themed event, which was sponsored by the Friends and Family of Thomaston Grammar School (TGS) group, had a wonderful turnout.  Approximately 150 children attended along with a parent or other family member.  There was a photo booth where students and their friends and/or families could get photos taken by Principal Riley. Families had a great time using the backdrop and props to enhance the carnival theme of their photos.

From there, students were able to play a variety of games, and keep playing until they won a prize.

Additional attractions included a balloon artist who put on a spectacular show midway through the event. He made marvelous balloons creations for each child who attended the event and engaged the students in his craft by disguising them as things like a butterfly and a viking.

Face painting was offered and there was free fresh-popped popcorn for all and baked goods and cotton candy for sale for those who wanted it. Door prizes were also available to lucky winners.
