Sunday Stroll in Rockland returns for Holiday Stroll, Dec. 8
ROCKLAND — The Sunday Stroll is back on Main Street in Rockland, December 8, from 12 - 4 p.m., with a special Holiday Stroll. The Holiday Stroll will be filled with festive fun activities, including fire pits with s’mores and storytelling, ornament painting, holiday shopping and more.
Have a fireside chat with Mayor Penny York and other city councilors and staff. Visit with Santa from 2-4 p.m. Take your picture in front of Newty’s iconic red truck. Don your best ugly sweater and take a selfie scavenger hunt to enter to win a gift certificate from a local business. Shop the Rockland Makers Market on the street and explore special shopping events in Main Street businesses, including a chocolate tasting at Winifred & Evalyn and a poetry reading at Arctic Tern books.
"You can even have a (yarn) snowball fight in the middle of the street," said Christa Zuber, in a news release.
The Holiday Sunday Stroll is the final Sunday Stroll event of 2024 and takes place from noon-4 p.m. Main Street will be closed from approximately 10:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.
