SEARSPORT — Midcoast soulsters The Sugar Snaps bring their unique, infectious mix of vintage tunes to the Starboard Lounge on Saturday, June 22.
 
“Featuring a classic horn section and the powerful pipes of Ms. Emma Theobalds, the band has been making a name for itself around the region with jam-packed shows filled with energetic, dance-hungry crowds,” said Mo Lotman, in a news release. “Mining the rich back catalog of lesser-known tunes from great artists, the Snaps breathe fresh air into the genre, helped along by a talented rhythm section built to groove. Sprinkled in are a few hits, forgotten classics, and newer artists working the retro sound.”

The Starboard Lounge is located at Hey Sailor, 25 East Main Street in Searsport. The show begins at 7 p.m., the cover is $10.
