Wed, 10/13/2021 - 5:30pm

The latest edition of the Strand Theatre’s Strand On The Air original radio variety show series, the “All Treat, No Tricks” special, will be broadcast on Sunday, October 31, at 5 p.m.

The show can be heard by tuning in to WRFR at 93.3 in Rockland, 99.3 in Camden, or by streaming at WRFR.org. Shows are then made available to stream on the Strand Theatre website at RocklandStrand.com, and as a podcast.

The “All Treats, No Tricks” edition features House Manager Liz McLeod and the Strand Family Players, announcer Dan Bookham, and musical director Brittany Parker in a full sixty minutes of laughs and tunes.

“Join the intrepid journalists of All Things Rescinded for a frightening journey deep into the heart of the service-industry labor shortage, a nightmarish expose of the hot new fad of adult napping, and an exclusive minds-eye look at the most terrifying Halloween costume of 2021,” said McLeod, in a news release. “And down in Abysmal Point, you’ll be a nervous wreck as Mrs. Grunden and company stalk deep into the shadowy woods to rescue Gertie Crummet from the clutches of a marauding alien invasion!”

This show was written and directed by McLeod and presented by recording by the Strand Theatre.
