The Stockton Springs Community Library is celebrating its 25th Anniversary, Saturday, July 11, from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m., and the community is invited to join the festivities while supporting the library's ongoing programs and services. 

Visitors can purchase raffle tickets in advance or on the day of the event. The raffle drawing will take place at 1 p.m., with prizes generously donated by local businesses, including Hannaford (Bucksport and Belfast), Rob's Hardware, Hey Sailor, H & H Mercantile, Dairy Port, Sweet Cheeks, The Club Marina & Bar, Edward's Brothers Supermarkets, Stone Fox Farm Creamery, Irving Oil, Just Barb's, and Maritime Energy.

In addition to the raffle, attendees will have the opportunity to bid on five original works of art donated by local artist Mark Quigley. The silent auction will feature a collection of Quigley's celebrated artwork, with opening bids starting at $100.

"One featured piece is 'Pout Town Road,' a striking landscape that captures the unexpected beauty of one of Stockton Springs' familiar roads," said SSCL, in a news release.

"Who knew Pout Town Road had such beauty? Now everyone will!"
