Summer may be almost over; however, there is still time to encourage young readers for a chance to win a Kindle. Young patrons of Appleton Library can sign up and complete one of our 2020 virtual reading challenges through Beanstack, before September 7, 2020. We have reading challenges for picture book readers, early readers, and chapter book readers.

Union Masons generously donated Kindles for raffle prizes. Thanks to a grant from the Rose & Samuel Library Trust, Appleton Library added over fifty new juvenile fiction books to complete many of our juvenile series. Check out Appleton Library's Facebook page for a storybook reading by Kate, one of our volunteers. Kate read Westlandia by Paul Fleishman.

Please visit our website www.appletonlibraryme.org to sign up for our Summer Reading Challenge for Kindles and check out our new acquisitions.

We are now open Saturdays 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., and offer Curbside Service for pickups on Mondays 10:00 a.m. to noon, Thursdays 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and Saturdays 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Patrons can request items three ways, complete the Curbside Request form on our website: http://www.appletonlibraryme.org, email: appletonlibraryme@gmail.com, or call the library at 207-785-5656.
