'StewCrew and Brews' paddle and community trail work on 100 Acre Island

Friday, July 31, 2026 - 01:00 pmJoin Georges River Land Trust on Friday, July 31, for an afternoon of paddling on Crawford Pond and trail maintenance on 100 Acre Island Preserve.
The paddle to 100 Acre Island will begin and end at The Pour Farm in Union, according to GRLT, in a news release. The paddle and trail work will last about 4 hours.
Afterwards, relax and socialize at The Pour Farm in Union while enjoying local brews and live music.

Participants should bring their own kayak, canoe, or paddleboard. Wear comfortable clothes and bring water, work gloves, handsaws, loppers, and/or rakes if you have them. GRLT will have gloves and tools to share. Personal flotation devices are required.
Meet at The Pour Farm promptly at 1 p.m. to transport paddle crafts to the nearby Crawford Pond.
1 pm- 5 pm - Paddle with Georges River Land Trust from the Pour Farm to 100 Acre Island, do trail work, and paddle back.
5 pm - Enjoy brews and live music at the Pour Farm, a local nano-brewery in Union.
