ST. GEORGE — The voters of St. George were tasked with one municipal referendum question when voting in the Nov. 2 elections.

The St. George Select Board included an amendment to the Town Charter that allows for Associate Non-Voting Members to be added to the Conservation Commission.

These positions are specifically allowed by state law, but were not addressed in the local charter, according to the town. The Select Board voted unanimously to support this change.

The measure passed at the polls 798 to 197.
