St. Euphemia's to hold community contra dance, Oct. 20
ROCKLAND — St. Euphemia's introduces a new community event for the Midcoast of Maine. The church's inaugural Contra Dance is set for Sunday, Oct. 20, 2024, from 3 to 6 p.m., at 180 Limerock St., Rockland, ME 04841.
This event will be open to the public, admission free of charge, but a suggested donation of $5 per person for those who wish to contribute.
"God-willing, it is our hope to host a Contra Dance on a quarterly basis, dedicated towards the enjoyment of wholesome community events," said the church, in a news release.
Church Tours available upon request.
Music selections will be from traditional folk music (English/Irish/Scottish/Bulgarian etc.) - played live by the St. Euphemia community.
