SPRUCE HEAD — The Spruce Head Community Hall & Historical Association welcomes everyone to its Third Annual Ice Cream Social on Thursday, June 20, at 6:30 p.m.
 
Building on the popularity of the previous years' socials, organizer Kristi Smith promises more ice cream and more toppings than ever, plus indoor and outdoor games for everyone, said the Historical Association, in a news release.

There is no charge, but contributions for the preservation of the Hall are always welcome.
 
The gray-shingled Community Hall, a village landmark, has now embarked on its second century of bringing together villagers and visitors for potluck suppers, lectures, morning coffees, special birthday parties, and many other events.
