Spring into Summer Dance Party with The Sugar Snaps at Watts Hall Community Arts
THOMASTON — The “Spring into Summer Dance Party” features The Sugar Snaps, Saturday, June 1, at 7 p.m., at Watts Hall Community Arts, located at 174 Main Street in Thomaston.
The Sugar Snaps are an eight-member soul, funk, and R&B band based in Belfast, drawing on talented musicians from Knox, Waldo, and Hancock counties.
“Known for their driving and syncopated grooves, The Sugar Snaps feature a dynamic three-piece horn section, a tight rhythm section, and powerful female lead vocals,” said Watts Hall Community Arts, in a news release. “Their music is guaranteed to get everyone on the dance floor.”
Tickets for the event are $20 in advance and $25 at the door, if available.
“The last dance party hosted at Watts Hall sold out a week in advance and had a waitlist of over 60 people, so advance ticket purchases are highly recommended to ensure your spot at this much-anticipated event,” said the release.
