Spring courses through Five Town CSD adult, community education

Celebrate the arrival of spring with Five Town CSD Adult and Community Education. The school program is offering gardening, crafts and more. 

Classes starting soon include:  

Sewing – Basic Pattern Fitting, begins 3/25 for 5 weeks. Your new spring outfit may be just around the corner when you learn how to custom-fit any pattern to fit you, in this class with experienced sewing teacher Diana Falciani.

Felted Vessels and More, one night, 3/26. Create adorable holders for dried flowers or small objects in this fun one-evening session with crafter Donna Vix.

Beautiful Proddy Flowers, one night, 4/2. There may not be any real flowers in our gardens yet, but you will have some colorful and charming felt ones to take home after taking this class.  Also taught by Donna Vix, these flowers work perfectly in her felted vessels!

Design Your Landscape in Spring, begins 4/10. Learn a wide range of tips and suggestions in this field-based class where you will visit not only your own but all participants’ gardens over the course of several weeks with Master Gardener Sharon Turner.

Grow Your Own Organic Garden, one night, 4/3. Learn the basics of growing vegetables in a sustainable manner in this comprehensive workshop taught by a local gardener and member of MOFGA.
Magic Lessons begins 4/9 for 4 weeks. Be sure to join this really fun class where you will laugh and cheer as you learn tricks from long-time magician Rick Bernard.
