South Thomaston voters approve issuing licenses for Sunday liquor sales

SOUTH THOMASTON — Voters in the Town of South Thomaston were asked to vote Nov. 2 on one local ballot measure in addition to the three statewide referendum measures.
The question was: Shall this municipality authorize the State to issue licenses for the sale of liquor to be consumed on the premises of licensed establishments on Sundays?
The measure passed 417 to 117.
