SEARSPORT — The Penobscot Valley Conference held its cross country championships Saturday, Oct. 19 in Searsport. 

Among those participating were Searsport, Presque Isle, Caribou, Ellsworth, Mount Desert Island, Hermon, John Bapst, Old Town, Foxcroft Academy, Washington Academy, George Stevens, Orono, Houlton/Great Houlton Christian, Narraguagus, Machias, Sumner, Central, Calais, Jonesport-Beals and Bangor Christian. 

The Searsport boys team placed 11th in the conference championship with a total time of 2:24:54.18.

The Searsport girls team did not place in the meet.
