Rockport Select Board to begin Monday’s meeting business with closed door session

Sun, 06/26/2022 - 8:30pm

ROCKPORT — The Rockport Select Board will be down to four members Monday evening when it convenes first to talk about a matter in executive session, and then to address a full agenda in public session, including how to fill the empty seat at the table.

The executive session is scheduled for two hours — 4:30 to 6:30 p.m., and the agenda does not specify whether it is to address personnel issue, or to talk about real estate or legal issues. The meeting, to take place in the Green Room at the Rockport Opera House, is to consult with the town’s attorney.

Last week, the town learned that the Town of Camden had filed a complaint against Rockport in Knox County Superior Court for underpayment of sewer bill. Read more: Camden files court complaint against its neighbor, Rockport; wants $201,590
