Rockport library family concert with 2023 Latin Grammy nominee Flor Bromley
ROCKPORT — The Rockport Public Library invites families on Wednesday, July 24, at 4:30 p.m., to visit Mary Lea Park (adjacent to the Rockport Opera House) for a musical performance with Latin GRAMMY® nominee singer/songwriter Flor Bromley. Bromley's colorful, bilingual performance is geared to entertain and teach children about Latin culture.
Originally from Peru, Flor Bromley is a professionally trained musical theater actress who uses global rhythms, the power of storytelling, and puppetry to engage audiences of all backgrounds and ages. She has released 4 bilingual family albums and has performed at distinguished venues and festivals nationwide. Her album Fiesta Global was named an official selection of notable works for children by the American Library Association.
Attendees are encouraged to bring a picnic dinner and blankets to sit on at this outdoor event.
The concert is free and open to all families. The event is sponsored by the First National Bank and First National Wealth Management.
