ROCKPORT — The Rockport Garden Club has awarded its 2021 scholarships to two local graduating seniors who are pursuing horticultural or environmental related degrees.

Alexia Cazemajou, of Camden, student of Heidi Johnson and Patrick Cazemajou, is a summa cum laude graduate of Camden Hills Regional High School (CHRHS). She plans to study environmental science.

Hannah Fiske, of Rockville, student of Steve Fiske and Barbara Post, is a graduate of Camden Hills Regional High School (CHRHS). She plans to attend the University of Connecticut to study and pursue a career in environmental science.

As part of Rockport Garden Club’s mission, scholarships are awarded each June to local students who are beginning or continuing their education in horticulture or environmental fields. Scholarships are awarded based upon planned curriculum, academic record, community service, and level of need.
