ROCKLAND — In anticipation of forecasted snow Sunday, Feb. 15, the Rockland Fire Department cookoff has been rescheduled to March 8. All other details remain the same.

Sample chili and chowders at Trackside Station in Rockland Sunday, March 8, 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Proceeds support the Muscular Dystrophy Association.

At this time, most of the contestants are able to attend the rescheduled event.

Original representation included: Trackside Restaurant, the Lobster Shack Rockland, Thomaston Café, Pen Bay Healthcare cafeteria, Eclipse (formerly the Chowder House in Rockland), Cappy’s Chowder House in Camden, Athens Pizza, Home Kitchen Café, Instructor Josh Gamage and his Region 8 culinary arts department, and Park Street Grille.
