BELFAST — Registration is open through the University of Maine Hutchinson Center for more than 300 undergraduate and graduate courses offered in fall 2019, both live and via distance education (online, ITV and
videoconferencing), Sept. 3-Dec. 13.

Need-based Hutchinson Center scholarships are available to new and continuing students. The deadline for scholarship applications is August 20.

Whether you are completing a bachelor’s degree or advancing your career through graduate studies, UMaineOnline and the Hutchinson Center are sources for education in Midcoast Maine.

For students with family, job and other responsibilities that do not allow for full-time study, the Bachelor of University Studies Program provides an opportunity to develop a course of study that encompasses their interests and makes maximum use of existing transfer credits.

Visit umaine.edu/online to learn more about the variety of courses and programs offered online year-round.

At the Hutchinson Center, students registering for fall courses can contact Nancy Bergerson, coordinator of student services and community education. Bergerson works with students and the Midcoast community in supporting educational opportunities. As a UMaine graduate with a master’s degree in interdisciplinary studies, she appreciates the challenges and sacrifices students make in pursuit of higher education, whether it be a class or a degree program, according to the Hutchinson Center, in a news release.

Schedule an advising appointment today to begin, continue or complete your degree by contacting Bergerson, 207-338-8049; nancy.bergerson@maine.edu or visit hutchinsoncenter.umaine.edu.
