The Waldoboro Public Library will hold an informational program about Ranked Choice Voting on Wednesday, April 1, from 5:30 to 7 p.m., led by Vanessa Diaz Gaumond from the Department of the Secretary of State. This event is an educational mock election and question session free and open to the public.

Maine uses the Rank Choice Voting Election Method for some races, including many in the June 9 primary election.

"This is a nonpartisan voter education event where you can have your questions answered and practice voting," said the Library, in a news release. "All ages are welcome."
