Positive Attitude Awards Assembly at Thomaston Grammar

THOMASTON — Several Thomaston Grammar School students were recognized for their “Positive Attitude” at a school-wide assembly on April 23. The students receiving the “Positive Attitude” award are all positive members of the TGS community.
Problems do not get in their way. They are problem solvers and are persistent, pushing away any discouragement. Their characters are such that they accomplish tasks, always wanting to improve upon the task at hand, improving their behavior and their relationships with others.
The most endearing quality of these children is that they all have a sense of humor, according to to Thomaston Grammar. They choose to be happy.
Owen deLorimier was also awarded the Principal’s Award at this assembly.
Owen is a student who consistently does the right thing each and every day without being asked or reminded to do so. It is just natural for him to make those good decisions, to choose to be kind.
Being kind isn’t always easy, yet that is the path that Owen chooses every time, even in the most difficult of situations. He cares about the well-being of others and will stand up for them when needed.
He genuinely cares about the feelings of his peers and the staff here at Thomaston Grammar School.
Congratulations to all the students who received awards at TGS.
