CAMDEN — Merryspring Nature Center will be holding a Pie Social as part of its Family Fun and Open Garden Day celebration on Saturday, July 20. 

Merryspring provides the following details for the event:

• What is a Pie Social?  A Pie Social is a special family event where people bring lots of pies and eat them! We are hoping to have 30 pies of all kinds.
• When is the Pie Social?  The Pie Social is on Saturday, July 20 from 3:00 to 3:45 pm.
• Where is the Pie Social?  The Pie Social will be under a tent in the middle of the gardens.
• How much does it cost? The Pie Social is free!
• Do we have to bring a pie? No, but it would be great if you could!
• Do we need to bake a pie or can we buy pies to bring?  All pies are welcome!
• What kind of pies?  Any kind of pie is great!
• When should we bring pies to Merryspring?  Saturday, July 20 by 2:00 pm.
  NOTE: Merryspring does not have refrigeration for pies.
• What kind of pie plate should we use?  We recommend a disposable tin pie plate.
• Do we need to rsvp on bringing a pie? Yes, please do!
• Do we need to bring anything else to the Pie Social?  You can bring ice cream and non-alcoholic drinks for you and your family.  We will have plates, utensils and napkins.

Merryspring is your community nature center offering walking trails, cultivated gardens, wildlife, and ecology and horticulture educational programs all year round.
