UNITY — Perley “Chuck” Tucker, Jr., 76, of Unity, passed away peacefully on Saturday October 19, 2019, with his beloved wife, Sandra Tucker, by his side.

Chuck was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend. He was kind and funny, he enjoyed cooking, and had one of the biggest hearts around.

As a young man, Chuck served his country in the Air Force, and later worked at S.D. Warren in Westbrook, making paper while raising his family.

Being an avid hunter and fisherman, Chuck retired to Unity where he was close to family and friends, and could spent the rest of his days in the woods or by the water.

Chuck spent much of his time over the past few years with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren taking them on four-wheeler rides and teaching them hunting and fishing skills.

In addition to his parents, Chuck was predeceased by one brother, Thomas Tucker.

Chuck is survived by the love of his life and wife of 55 years, Sandra Tucker, of Unity; children, Tommy Tucker of Unity, Christopher Tucker of Old Orchard Beach, Melissa Tucker of Unity, and Patricia Blackmon of Vassalboro; siblings, Sandra Tucker Casey, Dawn Tucker Thomas, Susan Tucker Spencer, and Darlene Tucker Easler; grandchildren, Nicole Tucker, Samantha Daniels, Dominick Cormier, Gabriel Tucker, Alexis Blackmon, and Ethan Blackmon; great-grandchildren Jacob Tucker, Isabella Ard, and Avery Daniels; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Private services will be held in the spring.
