Parts of Camden, Hope, Lincolnville to undergo power outage today

    MIDCOAST — Central Maine Power will be shutting down power starting sometime between 3 and 4 p.m., this afternoon to repair a broken transmission pole along the line that feeds the Camden substation, according to a news release. The outage is expected to last about two hours. 

    This outage will affect approximately 6,000 customers, including most of Camden, parts of Hope, and parts of Lincolnville. Pen Bay Medical Center is not expected to be affected.

    The Snow Bowl will be closing early.
