PITTSFIELD – Three of the local wrestling clubs took to the mat Friday, Dec. 28 at Maine Central Institute at the Mid-Maine Tournament with 11 other teams.

Final team scores from the tournament were, 1, Ellsworth, 184.0; 2, Morse, 107.0; 3, MCI, 89.0; 4, Oceanside, 61.0; 5, Medomak Valley, 59.0; 6, Mount View, 52.0; 7, Bucksport, 51.0; 8, Mount View "B", 13.0; 9, Orono, 8.0; 10, John Bapst, 7.5; 11, Medomak "B", 4.0; and 12, Ellsworth "B", did not score.

182 pounds - Cyril Miller (17-1, 12pins) won by pin over Vaughn Hitchcock of Ellsworth at 0:52 of the second period. and won by pin over Brody Losier of Morse at 0:20 of the second period. He took 1st place.

220 pounds - Dylan Look (4-2, 2pins) Lost 12-3 to Patrick Kidder of Ellsworth. won by pin over Jed McGowen of MCI at 0:24 of the third period. Won 10-6 over Job Mesaric of Mt. View. He took 3rd place.
