Oceanside golf bests Nokomis in KVAC playoff opener

ROCKLAND — The Oceanside golf team hosted Nokomis at the Rockland Golf Club in a Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference playoff opener Thursday, Sept. 19.
The match ended with the hosts winning the match 8.5 to 0.5.
The match’s medalist was Darik Johnson of Oceanside.
The next playoff round will be Monday, Sept. 23.
The KVAC Class B Shootout will be held at the Rockland Golf Club on Thursday, Sept. 26 at 2 p.m.
The KVAC Qualifier will be held Tuesday, Oct. 1 at Natanis at 10 a.m.
The MPA team championships will be held Saturday, Oct. 5 at Natanis at 10 a.m.
The MPA individual championships will be held Saturday, Oct. 12 at Natanis at 10 a.m.
