Oceanside 8th girls basketball defeats Appleton

THOMASTON — The Oceanside eighth grade girls basketball team hosted Appleton in a Busline League game Monday, Dec. 16 in Thomaston.
The host Mariners maintained quarterly advantages of 14-0, 26-7 and 34-12 en route to a 46-25.
Scoring for Oceanside were S. Clayton (two points), C. Lamb (two), S. Vose (six), N. Hitz (four), A. Marves (six), S. Daggett (14), H. Davis (four) and G. Webber (eight).
Scoring for Appleton were J. Pendleton (nine), I. Debroskey (four) and B. Odone (12).
The next game for Oceanside will be Thursday, Dec. 19 on the road against Edna Drinkwater.
