NORTHPORT — Celebrate community and enjoy an afternoon together at the 2nd Annual Northportpalooza, on Sunday, Sept. 20, from 2 to 4 p.m., outside the Northport Town Office, 16 Beech Hill Road.

Northportpalooza is a free, family-friendly celebration designed to bring neighbors together for an afternoon of activities, food, local organizations, and plenty of fun, according to Town, in a news release.

Children can get an up-close look at emergency vehicles and equipment at a Fire Department touch-a-truck. Young animal lovers can meet some friendly goats. Children can burn off energy in the bouncy castle.

"And no festival would be complete without cotton candy and hot dogs," said the Town.

The event will also feature a variety of local vendors and community nonprofits, offering residents an opportunity to learn more about the businesses, organizations, and volunteer groups that help make Northport such a special place to live.

"Whether you’re looking to connect with neighbors, discover local resources, enjoy some food, or simply let the kids have a great afternoon, Northportpalooza promises to be a fun community gathering for all ages," said the news release.

All are invited to join the festivities.
