The Town of Searsport Annual Municipal Election will be held on Tuesday March 4, at the Searsport Community Building, 42 Prospect Street. Polls will be open 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Elections are to determine:

One Select Board Position for a three-year term;

One School Board Member for a three-year term; and

Nine Members to the Budget Advisory Committee for a two-year term each.

Nomination paperwork is now available, and must be returned to the Town Clerks office no later than January 8.

Absentee ballots will be available at the Town Office beginning Feb. 8. They can be picked up in person or mailed to voters. Call 207-548-6372.

All absentee ballots must be requested by Feb. 28 at 4 p.m.

The 2025 Annual Town Meeting will be held Saturday, March 8, at 1 Union Street, Union Hall Building, Searsport starting at 9 a.m. For more information, contact Town Clerk during business hours.
