Nancy L. ‘Nan’ Larrimore, obituary

HOPE — Nancy L. ‘Nan’ Larrimore, 82, beloved wife of Rev. Andrew K. Larrimore, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Sunday, November 10, 2019, at the Sussman House in Rockport.

Born in North Adams, Massachusetts, June 2, 1937, she was the daughter of Richard C. and Velma Ellis Reece.

Throughout her career, she worked as a Corporate Secretary with Attleboro Mutual Insurance Company. Nan was involved in multiple areas of volunteer ministry in several churches where she attended and gave herself tirelessly to the work of the Lord. She used her giftings in the area of secretarial work and administration, as well children’s ministry. This included her many years of involvement in a girls mentoring program that touched the lives of many.

Besides her husband Andrew, Nan is survived by three brothers, Robert Reece, Edward Parker and Bruce Parker, as well as several nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind her husband’s grateful children whose lives were impacted by her since childhood, Andrew D. Larrimore and his wife Joanne of Taunton, MA, Jacquie Schmidt and her husband Tim of Lynnfield, MA, Janice Reed and her husband Len of Berkley, MA, David Larrimore and his wife Kellie of Dighton, MA; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Friends and relatives are invited to visit Wednesday, November 20, from 5 to 7 p.m., at Burpee, Carpenter & Hutchins Funeral Home, 110 Limerock Street, Rockland, where a homegoing service will be held Thursday, November 21, at 1 p.m.

Burial will be at a later date in Hope Grove Extension Cemetery, Hope.
