Mona L. Ingraham, obituary

CAMDEN - Mona Lucille Ingraham, 96, died March 1, 2019, at Woodlands Memory Care in Rockland.

She was born in Camden on March 23, 1922 and was the daughter of Joshua and Virginia (Moore) Ingraham.  Mona graduated Camden High School as valedictorian, then graduated cum laude from Kents Hill School where she was employed for 25 years as a bookkeeper. Mona then worked for 17 years as a bookkeeper for the State of Maine Dept. of Nutrition until she retired and moved to Camden.

 Mona was a member at John Street United Methodist Church, joining when it was located on Mountain Street near monument square in Camden.

 She was predeceased by her sister “Bea” Beulah Cunningham, brothers-in-law, Craig Cunningham and Sumner “Mose” Mills; and nephew Joshua Mills and his wife, Linda.

Surviving is her sister, Dorothy Mills of Camden; many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews, including Carolan Rasmussen and her husband Jeff and their family; Craig Cunningham and his wife, Patti and their family; Vicky Mills Lesmerises and her husband, Armand and their family.  

Interment will be held at Mountain View Cemetery in the late spring.  The family wishes to thank those who have touched and blessed Mona’s life.  Condolences and memories may be shared with them at www.longfuneralhomecamden.com .
