Mike Ray will listen to you and work for you in Augusta
Mike Ray is running for re-election as representative for district 40, representing Appleton, Islesboro, Liberty, Lincolnville, Montville, Morrill, Searsmont.
As a Lincolnville resident, I’ve had the opportunity to observe his service to our community. He served on many town committees including the Selectboard and Conservation Commission. I’ve worked alongside him at the Waldo County Woodshed. He is not afraid of hard work and is always the first to offer a helping hand to a neighbor who needs it.
During his first term he sponsored and passed the first-in-the-nation wood bank legislation that facilitates neighbors helping each other heat their homes. On the Transportation Committee, Mike helped pass legislation keeping ferries on the islands overnight so emergency medical services are available 24/7. He worked to improve road maintenance, strengthen public transportation, and make sure our unbridged islands stay connected
As a former Maine Guide Mike has a deep love and commitment to the environment and will work to protect it. Any lover of the natural world will be committed to mitigating the devasting effects of climate change. Mike supports continuing Maine’s Climate Action Plan as a practical, sensible path forward, to protect the outdoors for future generations.
Mike shares my values and goals for Maine’s future. If you also value our natural resources and love for the community, if you want to see ALL Maine people prosper and not just “get by” then I hope you’ll vote for Mike Ray this November. He will listen to you and work for you.
