ROCKLAND — Mid-Coast School of Technology January Students of the Month are focused, conscientious, and diligent.

Faith Dudley – Grade 12 – Camden Hills Regional High School

Faith is focused on whatever task is put in front of her and is definitely a keen learner. She is always very diligent with doing all of the book work that needs to be done in the classroom before and after actually cooking within any given unit that we are focusing on. Within the kitchen she also excels with her ability to quickly learn the necessary methods and techniques. ~ Chef Butler, Culinary Arts Instructor

Ryan Richardson – Grade 11 – Oceanside High School

As stated by other students "his creativity and strong willpower allowed him to produce games and even mechanics I couldn't even think of doing. He is highly intelligent, and yet extremely humble. He is always calm and collected in the face of any sort of daunting project, and is able to take on a huge workload with both a good attitude and an efficient work ethic. He is a pleasure to work with and immensely competent." ~ Mr. Soards, Design Tech Instructor

Cassandra Smeltzer – Grade 12 – Medomak Valley High School

Cassandra is a conscientious, hard-working student who consistently demonstrates a positive attitude and enthusiasm towards what she is learning. She has a bubbly and self-confident personality and she is always willing to assist other students in need of extra help. Cassandra can always be counted upon to deliver excellent care to the residents/patients she is assigned to in the clinical setting. ~ Ms. Moreau, R.N., CNA Instructor

Colby Strout – Grade 11 – Camden Hills Regional High School

Colby is a competent, diligent, and self-motivated student. This is his first year in Pre-engineering. He grasps concepts quickly and has a good foundation. Colby shows up every day we have class prepared and actively engaged; these qualities will work well for him in his future endeavors. ~ Mr. Arford, Pre-Engineering Instructor
