ICS graduation went off without a hitch, as the saying goes.

Each senior had up to three guests. Families came forward and presented seniors with their diploma on the front steps of the school.

We had 45 people in attendance, enjoying temps in the 60s, under tents and cloudy skies.

A live feed through YouTube was made available with the help of local Michael Hutcherson. 175 families, as far away as Kenya, were watching through their computers and handheld devices.

Social distancing measures were closely followed and masks were worn as appropriate.

The ceremony culminated in a brief celebratory convoy ride to the ferry terminal. Supporters waved and held up signs of support and well wishes from their front yards.

A great day was had by all.
