WALDOBORO — The homecoming schedule for Medomak Valley High School in Waldoboro has been announced. 

The homecoming festivities are highlighted by six athletic events, a parade, a bonfire and a class-spirit run, in addition to the school’s semi-formal event. 

There will be a $1 admission fee for the soccer games against Lincoln Academy to support the school’s athletic booster club. 

Friday, Sept. 20

4 p.m. — Cross Country Invitational with Belfast, Camden Hills, Cony, Erskine Academy, Gardiner, Lincoln Academy, Lawrence, Messalonskee, Morse, Oceanside and Waterville. 

5 p.m. —  Parade

6:30 p.m. —  Class spirit run around the track

6:30 p.m. —  Concession stands open

7 p.m. —  Varsity Football vs. Winslow

9:30 p.m. —  Bonfire next to the student parking lot

Saturday, Sept. 21

9 a.m. —  Concession stands open; apparel table open

9 a.m. —  Junior Varsity Girls Soccer vs. Lincoln Academy

11 a.m. — Junior Varsity Boys Soccer vs. Lincoln Academy

11 a.m. to 2 p.m. — Chicken BBQ meal for $10

1 p.m. — Varsity Girls Soccer vs. Lincoln Academy

3 p.m. — Varsity Boys Soccer vs. Lincoln Academy

7 p.m. to 10 p.m. — Semi-Formal (1920s theme attire encouraged)
