Medomak 7th basketball sweeps Troy Howard

WALDOBORO — The Troy Howard and Medomak seventh grade boys and and girls basketball teams met on the hardwood Wednesday, Jan. 12 in Waldoboro for a Busline League contest. 

Both of the Medomak collected victories with the boys squad extending its record to a perfect 6-0 and the girls earning its first win of the season. 

Girls: Medomak 30, Troy Howard 18

Medomak held quarterly advantages of 5-2, 15-10 and 18-15. 

Scoring for Medomak were Sidney Nicholls (five points), Rachel Barbour (four), Grace Havener (four), Molly Emerson (six), Lilly Hills (nine) and Brooke McNelly (two). 

Scoring for Troy Howard were Hope Reynolds (two points), Jaedyn Bradly (three), Amaarah Thorndy (four) and Emma Tripp (nine). 

Boys: Medomak 43, Troy Howard 21

Medomak held quarterly advantages of 13-7, 25-8 and 32-14. 

Scoring for Troy Howard were Brody Balicki (13 points), Trevin Ripley (three), Landon Gray (two), Aiden Howard (two) and Cole Garish (one). 

Scoring for Medomak were Clark Elwell (17 points), Brayden Nadeau (nine), Landon Starr (seven), Kollin Donlin (two), Grady White (two), Liam Feeley (two), Joe Wilcox (two) and Wyatt Hood (two).
