Medomak 7th baseball experiences two walk-off finishes

The Medomak Middle School seventh grade baseball team played in two contests recently, both finishing in walk-off fashion. 

Below is information reported to the sports department from both of those games. 

Troy Howard 3, Medomak 2 [Extra Innings]

The Riverhawks hit the road Thursday, May 30 to play a five inning game against Troy Howard Middle School in Belfast.

Troy Howard walked off with a 3-2 win in extra innings. 

Aaron Reed pitched well for the Riverhawks coming within one out of victory. 

Hitting for the hosts were Littlefield, Weatherington (two), Dyer, Castro and Sheldon.

Medomak was held hitless by Troy Howard's Littlefield and Dyer. 

Medomak 10, Oceanside 9

In a regular season finale contest in Waldoboro, Medomak earned a walk-off victory in a seven inning showdown. 

The contest was full of twists, turns and lead changes but in the end the Riverhawks prevailed with their own walk off 10-9.
 
Aaron Reed provided the game-winning hit in the bottom of the seventh as Medomak loaded the bases with two outs and Landon Tapley scoring the winning run.
 
Reed finished with three hits to go along with Kyle Smith's two, and one each from Kory Donlin, Sam Moody and Michael Sabins.
 
Oceanside's offense was provided by Blaine P.'s four hits, and one apiece from Hunter M., Zac H. and Ben T.
