CAMDEN — As the old rhyme states, “April showers bring May flowers.” This notion is alive and well at Children’s House Montessori School, according to the School, in a news release.

On May 1, primary and elementary classrooms took advantage of the beautiful spring weather to celebrate a time-honored tradition: delivering May baskets. Two classes created colorful baskets and arranged flowers before heading into town to deliver the festive decorations to homes and businesses. The students learned about the tradition of May baskets and experienced the joy they bring, both to the giver and the receiver.

Celebrating its 40th year, Children’s House offers a unique early learning experience that gives children the chance to discover and explore the world around them. Its mission is to provide an educational culture that respects the child’s innate desire to learn and fosters curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking, while preparing every child to become a thoughtful, independent and compassionate global citizen.

Children’s House Montessori School, located at 58 Elm Street, is now accepting applications for enrollment for students ages 18 months to nine years for the 2019-20 school year.
