THOMASTON — Marion R. Hall Stone passed away July 18, 2023. Born January 29, 1925, she was one of four children to Leon and Mary Francis Hall. Her three siblings Theresa, Virginia & David have preceded her in death.

She’s a graduate of Thomaston High School class of 1942. She and classmate Lewis A Stone married on September 10, 1947 and enjoyed 57 years together until his death in November 2004.

She worked as the Manager of Duffy’s in Claremont, New Hampshire until her retirement when they returned to Thomaston in 1990. She was member of the American Legion Auxiliary post 37.

Marion is survived by her three children, Lewis (Anita) Stone, Sheryl (John) Gregory & Kathryn Stone; her grandchildren Amie (Chris) James, Jared (Michele) Stone; great grandchildren Griffin Smith, McKinley Smith, Nicholas Stone, Olivia Stone. Other loved ones include Thomas (Cyndi) Cowland, Melanie Beckett (son Jacob) & Brian (Lidia) Beckett (son Joshua) & the Coombs families.

A graveside service for Marion will be held on July 29, 2023, at 1 p.m., at the Village Cemetery in Thomaston, Maine.
