“Maine Summer” exhibit of oil paintings by Susan Dowley will be on display in the Kramer Gallery of the Belfast Free Library through August 18, 2025. 

Susan Dowley, of Hope, is a representational landscape painter working in oil, pastel, and gouache. Moving to Maine after college Dowley spent three summers painting along the Bold Coast. This experience painting the Maine coast became the foundation for her profession as an artist.

Dowley has exhibited her art in numerous group and one person shows in New England and New Brunswick, Canada.

The Kramer Gallery, located on the ground floor of the Library, 106 High Street, is open during Library hours.
