Maine State Police arrest three Liberty residents on drug, firearm charges

    LIBERTY — Maine State Troopers have charged three Liberty residents on drug-related offenses following a search of a School Ridge Road home.

    On August 4, Troopers from Troop D traveled to School Ridge Road in Liberty in an attempt to locate a subject wanted on warrants originating in Knox, Waldo and Franklin counties.  Troopers subsequently located and arrested Cole Libby, 27, who lived at the residence. 

    According to a news release from the Maine Public Safety Office, Libby was allegedly in possession of approximately 50 grams of Fentanyl, as well as several firearms, drug scales and approximately $8,500 in suspected drug proceeds. 

    Police said Felichia Glidden, 28, of Liberty, andRandall Smith, 56, also of Liberty were also at the resident.

    Glidden was allegedly in possession of methamphetamine and prescription drugs. Smith was allegedly in possession of approximately 6 grams of methamphetamine, $1,700 in suspected drug proceeds, and two pistols. (The $1,700 is separate from the $8,500.)

    A further search of the residence turned up numerous high-value items stolen in recent commercial thefts including a Can-Am Side by Side and a cannon. 

    Cole Libby is charged with Aggravated Trafficking of Schedule W Drugs (Class A), Receiving Stolen Property (Class C), and Violating Conditions of Release. 

    Felichia Glidden is charged with Unlawful Possession of Schedule Drugs (Class D), Possession of a Firearm by a Prohibited Person (Class C), Aggravated Trafficking of Schedule W Drugs (Class A)

    Randall Smith is charged with Trafficking in Schedule Drugs (Class B), Possession of a Firearm by a Prohibited Person (Class C)

    Libby, Glidden, and Smith were taken to the Waldo County Jail. At this time all three are out on bail.
