Join wildlife photographer and General Falconer Corrie Ann Borges on Nov. 7, at 2 p.m., at Stockton Springs Community Library, for a photographic journey into the lives of Maine’s winged wild species.
"Through stunning photography, videos, personal stories, and fascinating natural history, Corrie explores the remarkable world of dragonflies, damselflies, hummingbirds, loons, eagles, owls, bees, hawks, songbirds, and more," said the Library, in a news release.
The presentation also offers a glimpse into the ancient art of falconry and the lessons Borges has learned from living and working alongside her Red-tailed Hawk, Hopper, and her American Kestrel, Juniper.
"From migration and extraordinary adaptations to survival, behavior, and conservation, 'Maine's Winged Wonders' celebrates the incredible diversity of life around us and encourages us to slow down, look closer, and reconnect with the wild," said the news release.
