Maine Marine Patrol responds to Naskeag Point lobster boat sinking

BROOKLIN — Marine Patrol responded to a report of a lobster vessel that sunk Aug. 26 near Naskeag Point, in Brooklin.
The incident occurred at approximately 1:30 p.m. when, according to the Marine Patrol, Carl Gray, 45 of Sedgwick, hit a ledge in Naskeag Harbor.
The boat, a 36-foot fishing vessel, eventually ran aground near the boat launch at Naskeag Point.
The boat has become submerged in the incoming tide. Gray was transported to a nearby hospital by another fisherman.
